Nashik & Bollywood.
Bollywood owes its grandeur to a then small and dusty town of Nashik,
which gave the country its first film maker late Dadasaheb Phalke
who in 1913 made the first Indian movie “Raja Harishchandra”. The
Bollywood has since grown in leaps and bounds and bounds and so
has its ties with Nashik. With good accessibility by road &
train, beautiful surroundings, scenic locations, cool and pleasant
climate Nashik has always attracted the Bollywood film industry
for shooting their projections.
